NAB RADIO SHOW SESSION FEATURES TOP PROGRAM DIRECTORS

Washington, DC -- The NAB Radio Show will include a session focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced by today's program director. Titled The Big Picture: Group PDs Share Their View, the session will feature a panel discussion moderated by Buzz Knight, vice president of program development for Greater Media, Inc., and will include panelists from CBS Radio, Entercom Communications Corporation and Border Media Partners.

Attendees will learn from leading programming executives as they examine new media initiatives and key issues that must be addressed in the changing face of radio. Session participants include:

Buzz Knight (moderator) is the vice president of program development for Greater Media, Inc. Knight is responsible for developing new content and formats, identifying new talent and developing Greater Media's HD-2 programming. He also serves as an advisor for all of Greater Media's rock-based stations and oversees local programming as operations manager for WROR-FM and WBOS-FM in Boston, as well as Philadelphia's WMGK-FM and WMMR-FM.

Pat Paxton joined Entercom Communications Corporation in 1999 as the director of AC and CHR programming. Currently Entercom's senior vice president of programming, Paxton's previous work experience includes serving as a consultant for Zapoleon Media Strategies, a group program director for Nationwide Communications and program director for KHMX-FM in Houston.



Jose Santos is vice president of Spanish programming at Border Media Partners (BMP) and president of Santos Latin Media. Santos has over 20 years of experience working in radio markets across the country. Prior to joining BMP, Santos spent four years as program director of Univision's Spanish AC KLVE-FM (K-Love) in Los Angeles.




Greg Strassell is the senior vice president of programming for CBS Radio and the programming representative for Arbitron's Radio Advisory Council. Prior to joining CBS Radio, Strassell served as the vice president of product development for American Radio Systems.
